In 2017 A rep from Vivint Solar approached me about putting Solar panels on my home. In the course of the conversation he found out that I have rental property in the areas serviced by Arizona Public Service and asked me if he could see if his company could put solar panels on those homes. I gave him permission to go to the homes and measure the roofs and make up purposals for me to review!

Then I went out of the country for a time and when I came back over half my 14 rentals had been fitted with the panels and were hooked up! The rest were nearly so. By the time I figured out what was going on, they were all done. I had seen no Contracts and and not authorized one of the installations but yet they were done.

It has now been a year and a half since, and I have uncovered much forging, fraud and facts that were not disclosed to me in the begining. Vivint Solar kept saying that I had signed the contracts. But I did not. After the panels were all installed, lease payments started coming out of the one account that I had been swindled into giving a check on for $1.00.

Thomas Powers explained to me that that check was necessary to prove the company was mine and that it was not going to be cashed or used in any way. The checkwas cashed and lease payment began to be drafted from my account.

I have been able to stop the drafting of the payments and have been able to work with APS to get the panels unhooked from the grid, but the panels are still on my roofs causing more damage everyday. Each time it rains, water seeps in through the holes and damages more of the insides of the roofs and I have no way to get into repair the holes as the panels were installed so close to roofing materials so that real repairs can not be done.

Vivint Solar was supposed to be responsible for the repairs to the roofs and I have had no luck getting them to even offer to come look. This has been an all around horrible experience. I have Panels on 14 roofs I did not sign an agreement for, damaged roofs I can not repair, and now leins on all fourteen of the properties for the amount of the lease payments that I did know anything about because I did not receive the contracts before the installations happened.
