I use to work for vms alarms. They do alarms systems..They are the people you want to keep out  of your house. The fbi local police have been involved for many reasons..Stealing peoples personal information, drugs, ripping off customers and employees. They are a horrible company and they are a bunch of criminals and drug addicts. most employees are fresh out of prison for robbery, rape and drugs.

They do illegal credit checks and they dispose of customers personal information by dumping it into the landfill. Jay Gotra is the ceo and he is a drug addict. The abuse their employees, refusing to pay them wages. Please don't ever take an alarm from them. Most alarms dont even work..They install bad equpiment so they can save money and rob their customers...

I have been working at VMS alarms for about a month now and I must say, I have seen no evidence to support any of the above statements. Granted, the information system used is incredibly buggy and faulty, causing such things as failure to check against the Do Not Call list, which resulted in the fine last year. That has been fixed.

Stealing information? I would imagine that an alarm company needs to know your phone number, address, and name in order to bill and protect you. The credit checks further require a SSN and DOB, both of which are encrypted in the database to protect the customer.

As far as drugs are concerned, I've seen no evidence of such things. And as far as installing shotty equipment and then robbing customers? If you had proof of that you'd be a very wealthy man and VMS Alarms would not exist as company.

It's funny that you say that...

I was there today for an UNPAID orientation.... Talk about drugs. The guy said that they are going to become a drug free workplace and will conduct random drug tests to make sure that their employees are not involved with criminal activity.

They can not do that unless they have reasonable suspicion that you are going to work under the influence or they have proof you are bringing drugs on the property for use or sale. I have researched them on Google and I am not going to work there. The guy who hired me seems like a cocky little slime bag. Thanks for the heads up!! I don't roll like that!!
