Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Do not apply to work for this company. They are a credit card processing company that uses shady tactics to lure in unsaavy new business owners to use their card services. They claim to pay you for the 'training' that you receive. This 'training' consists of you writing down your pitch and role playing with the sales manager and other trainees and tweaking this pitch for an entire week. You don't really meet anyone else from the company until the classroom training is complete. They don't let you listen to others live on the sales floor to know what it's like.

I am a sales professional and thoroughly understand it is difficult to hop into a new industry and their are always many objections to overcome...but this type of 'one call close' sale is a joke for anyone who wants a respectable sales position.

They briefly mention their method of predictive dialing marketing at the beginning of training. But, once you really get out on the floor, you realize that the person on the other end could have been waiting on the line for up to 10 seconds...so you are beginning your attempt at a sale with: Hello, hello, can you hear me ok??" Then, you start to realize the shady practices that many of the employees use to keep someone from hanging up on them. They conveniently named the company Velocity Merchant Services (VMS), so they can say VMS...Visa Mastercard Services. Many of the reps say they are with Visa Mastercard services. This is a lie and is misrepresenting the company.

Anyways, everyone is told that they WILL BE PAID FOR TRAINING IF YOU COMPLETE THE TRAINING. Of course they only pay for those who complete the classroom training AND stay with the company for 2 weeks of being on the phone. When I called complaining that I didn't get paid for the first week fo training they claimed it was because training was still for 2 more weeks. I didn't receive any training during the week that I stuck around and was on the phone. On maybe 2 occassions I had a manager listening in on the phone call and giving me a minute of advice after the call.

They know that there is a revolving door of employees here so they disguise the duration of their training so that they can get away from paying all of their trainees BECAUSE NOBODY STAYS once they see how the sale really works...except the shady ones who don't mind hussling new business owners with false practices.

Waste of 2 weeks of my life
