I ordered and recieved the voip.com package for a home phone system. They charged me $42.90 for set-up and service fees with a money back guarantee. For some reason, my service could not recieve calls, I sent support tickets, and called voip, and no one knew why I wasn't recieving calls. Finally, after days of frustration, I gave up and sent the equipment back thinking I would recieve my refund. What I didn't realize was that I misunderstood the terms of service. I signed up for an "unlimited plan" but in order to get my refund I could not use over 200 minutes. "The Customer cannot exceed the number of Guarantee Minutes allotted to the Customer's plan in the Plan Information, as set forth below. If the Customer's actual usage during the first 30 days exceeds the Guarantee Minutes for the Customer's plan, then the Customer is not eligible for a refund." My misunderstanding was that I had an unlimited plan and so I could have used any amount of minutes and recieved my refund. Obviously I was wrong! Read carefully and know that you may not recieve the support you need with this company!
