Volkswagen perpetrated one of the biggests frauds against the American Publin when it sold us cars with faked emissions tests.   Well the fraud continues! 

Volkswagen reached an agreement with the FTC to buyback their TDI vehicles.  The deal clearly states the timelines for responding to consumers and for buying back the vehicles in question. 

But guess what!  They aren't following that agreement.    Not even close. 

I submitted all of my paperwork on 11/8/2016.  Their settlement website acknowledges that they have received all the  documentation, but that's it!  

According to the agreement, they had two weeks to review the documents and make an offer for settlement.   They have done NOTHING.   

And don't even try to reach them.... the chat function on their claims website doesn't work.  I have tried dozens of times and have never been able to get on. 

I called for a couple of weeks to the phone number they provide..... only to be told that a letter would be forecoming.  When I pressed for more information, the agent had to admit that she had no real information, but that if I had submitted my paperwork, then an offer would be made in 2 weeks.  This was 2 MONTHS after my paperwork was submitted.   

Don't bother trying to contact Volkswagen directly.... you can't do it. 

How long will this company be allowed to get away with this????  

I will never buy another product from them and have been telling everyone I can reach about how dishonest then are.
