vpchat.com Aka Halsoft Chat ripoff charged me after a months notice and blamed it on pay pal ripoff business from hell Austin, TX Internet
Granted I am NOT the ONLY former user of Halsoft to go thru this.
After banning my acct, After informing them to cancel my account over a month ago, they are still charging me. I complained and they are blaming PayPal.
They have a habit of charging for services and acting like the gestapo. For you to get a small idea of what they do?, I suggest you review the link posted here.

PAYING customers have been lied too, ripped off and out and out decieved time and time again. Its time they get the screwing they are used to giving to everyone else.

Now granted that this has happened over a year ago and hopefully you have gotten this taken care of John. but if you originally set up your VP account through paypal or paid with a credit card, it all went thourgh paypal. You would need to cancel it with them and take up the issue with them as well. I went through the same thing with them and was being charged by halsoft, but then i was told i should contact paypal, I talked to them, and i got my money back and the account closed. The problem lied with paypal. Not Halsoft. If anyone else had this kind of problem...and were paying with a credit card before 2004 CONTACT PAYPAL TO SEE IF YOUR CREDIT CARD IS BEING CHARGED THROUGH THEM!!

I emailed them again. They in their OWN Terms of Service (Tos) Make provisions for canceling their acct. yet? my cc# is STILL being charged!
