In 2013 I purchased a mobile home from Al Verbense in the Wagon Wheel Mobile Home Park. After taking a $2000 deposit and telling us to come and move in, he didn't even know who we were and did not have the home ready for us. He does not legally hold the title to the home, as he's never bothered. The house should be condemned according to the report that the state inspector gave. Most of the subfloor is rotted to the point where it's falling through in places, the entire roof leaks, the front porch is illegally attached and the rear porch was so rotted my roommate fell through it sustaining injury. The electrical is so screwed up that the electrician I hired told me it would be cheaper just to buy a new home. The plumbing is in the same condition. The septic always has issues that he refuses to fix and so does the well water. The entire home is covered in mold and plants growing from the walls from previous flooding and continual leaking through the roof. I had a container garden in my front yard, and because I refused to remove them (I'm not legally obligated to do so) he came and threw away everything that was outside my home, including yard equipment, all of my planters, my daughter's outside toy box and my greenhouse as well as around $1000 worth of other stuff. This guy has been a slumlord his whole life. The park is filled with criminals and drug addicts and is not the "family" community he portrays it to be. It has been run by a property management company called Tara (they are owned by Coldwell Banker) and they do absolutely nothing except collect rent and tell us they are not allowed to help us in any way.
