My sister in-law was offered a position at Walden Enterprises. The training was unpaid-which was the first red flag. She was told that after training, she would be on a team, that once appointments were set for demonstrations by the telemarketers the team of 2 or 3 sales people would go out and demonstrate the products together (one did the talking while another did the physical demonstration). She was told that there was no door to door sales involved. On her first day after the "volunteer" training she was dropped off in a neighborhood by herself to do door to door sales. She was also initially told that she would get paid a base pay-that story also changed after training. After she "volunteered" a week of training she was told that it was straight commission-so you don't sell you don't get paid. At that point she did not return-enough is enough!
My advice-don't do business with these people-they will give you the run around. I wouldn't buy a $3,000 vacume from Walden Enterprise!

Thank you.
I also went for an interview under false pretenses.
It was listed on Craigslist as a "cleaning position".
That was my first flag.
But it was your report here that confirmed it is a scam.
