after using this e-commerce site from Walgreens for several months, upon the sudden death of my doctor, the new doctor seein his current patients till plans could be made because the medication is a narcotic and can not be stopped being taken immeditaly. I sent in the new scripts with all the same information as before, only difference was doctors name and DEA number. walgreens refused to fill claiming they do not fill from a pain clinic which is a lie, because this new doctor is at a family clinic.she was contracted by the business of my deceased doctor.i do not shop around or take my scripts to different pharmacy i follow all the rules regulated by the new narcotic laws.if walgreens wont fill, who will. unless already istablished at a pharmacy, new pharmacy will not take you on.
these new laws are making it impossible for a disabled patient to get the regruied medications to live day to day.as in another report i read the pharmist did the same in annoucing out loud so other people could hear as if your a drug addict just trying to get meds.unless goverment steps in i see no remedy to this situation.in florida it has become impossible to fill due to the hundreds of pain clinics that were selling to just anyone even out of state. since they have closed all the illegal clinics,my doctor is(was) a physical rehab and pain magmt doctor.they filled his scripts, why is this doctor any different. just cause they SAY SO.i INTEND on sueing walgreens, because they wont fill my meds i can go into seizures and be hospitalized.they dont give a sh*.....

guess you've run into a problem.
You are an idiot if you think Walgreens is arbitrarily denying you your narcotics, They don't make money on items that they DON'T sell.
Your beef, if any, is with the state of Florida trying to stop serial scrip writers and serial user abuse of them. YOU just may be one of the abusers.
Be sure to come back on Ripoff Report and let us all know how your totally stupid lawsuit works out.
Answer this question....How is Walgreens to blame?

I suspect the reason your perscription was not filled was because of all the ppl shopping around. If this new doctor is not on walgreens list and thier dea number is at a different clinic then the one you went to, the walgreens is 100% right in denying your script. See, you are only looking at the situation this way because you dont have your meds. Walgreens HAS to follow strict guidelines on dealing with heavy duty narcotics. If they dont thier liscence is pulled. This means you wouldnt be getting ANYTHING.
Instead of a foolish attempt to sue walgreens which in the end you will be paying out the nose on, try contacting your doctors office and have the doctor them selves handle this. You ranting online solves nothing as walgreens is 100% correct in following the DEA rules. You dont have to like it but walgreens doesnt make the rules, they simply have to follow them to the letter or risk losing thier liscence. YOU AS A INDIVIDUAL ARE NOT WORTH LOSING A BILLION DOLLAR A YEAR BUSINESS BECAUSE OF!
So its not that they dont care, its just they have to do thier job. THEY DONT FEEL YOUR PAIN SO THEY DONT CARE. They have a job to do. As you are well aware, Florida cracked down on pillmills. Just because of this they have had to take a much stronger stance. Try working WITHIN the system, you get more done.
