I first started with Walgreens about 10 years ago. The girl that hired me and the manager was very nice to everybody but the head photo specialists was off work due to a broken ankle. When she decided to come back to work she put a notice for everyone to read, "The B*tch is Back". This is a multi million dollar business. A new sore was opening close to my home so I decided to transfer. The first manager, Stacy Crater, was a stern person but she always told you thank you for a good job. The next manager was, Kevin Block, he too was picky but we all had a good time at work.

He would always want you to tell him if you had any problems, so he could help you. These two were both excellent managers and took care of their employees. The next one was Craig Nielsen. He seen me as working part-time, I am on disability, getting by and he had to work long hours. Every day there was something wrong, always telling me I didn't take care of a customer the right way, he would always confront me with any rude customers that had complained about me. This is a retail industry, you cannot please everyone all the time but he went out of his way to pick on me.

Never saying anything positive, thanks for doing a good job, everything is negative. He yelled me at one point, so I decided to contact our district manager. Ever since then, he always yells at me  "you don't have to contact Mr. Woods". We have an annual review, every year he comes up with something new. I work as a photo specialists, when orders come in, via internet, kiosk, roll orders and customers questions, and check out customers. This year he decided, you are not doing enough out in the store, I see you just standing in front of the printer doing nothing.

My job is to do just that, you just don't press "start" and everything will print out and the pictures put themselves in the box. Yesterday he yelled at me "I seen you just standing here in front of the printer and doing nothing". A couple years ago he was yelling at everyone, he made one of the girls in another section come out of the office crying.There was something stuck in our trash compactor one day, he had to get up inside and was yelling profanity at everyone. I have seen people like him come and go.

He has never thanked me for coming in when everyone else call in sick because of a snow storm. Staying late when we had alot of customers standing in front of the counter. You get better productivity out of your employees when you are nice and compliment them for a good days work. There is no fun and laughter at our work place, everybody is playing it low key so there aren't next. Every dog has their day, his will be comming soon.

Bob Wood is a terrible DM. He's all nice, passing out holiday handshakes, pretending to appreciate your efforts. He's a total phony. He tolerates and allows abuses by his managers. He pretends to not know about it, when he knows full well what's going on. He's a total liar and a phony. I approached him about being harassed and was essentially laughed at. Don't shop at this vile company. They abuse and treat their employees like crap.

I will never understand why people have to be such a**holes toward the OP who reported their bad experiences.  People have spoken very hateful & said "False Statements" about me,  for coming out & reporting what i went threw.  This goes way beyond cruel. There is just no excuse to be this hateful.

...if he's constantly telling you about things you're doing wrong, you're probably doing things wrong. End of story. This isn't a rip-off, this isn't harassment, this is just you going, "Boo h*o I'm not getting treated like the prince/ss I think I should be treated as." He doesn't sound like an ideal boss, but coming here and posting this is a waste of everyone's time because it's pointless. This website is for rip-offs, a way to warn people about legit scams. This isn't a scam. Go post on your Facebook if you're unhappy at work.
