Wallace Morgan BEWARE!!! i filled out an customer service ad on indeed.com, 24 hours later a company called Wallace Morgan called a asked me to come for an interview. When i searched the address for directions on HOPSTOP it said the address did not exist. new york New York
Then i called the HR recuiter and she gave directions. The building was dark and had exposed wires and lights hanging over the elevators. When i reached the 6th floor ,there was 20 people waiting to be interviewed by different people. There was a big conference room and they interviewed two people in that room at different ends of the table. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS. They finally called me in to be interviewed and i was out in under 3 minutes. Ihave never seen anything like this. Totally unprofessional. Its a scam do not give social security numbrs. Thank God i smelled something was wrong and declined the postion. I had a similar experience with a Fake realty company on Hillside ave in Queens. BEWARE!!!
First let me state that I have extensive experience in retail , over 20 + years of customer service and Management knowledge. This looked like and smelled like a SCAM! BEWARE!!!! I Was looking to be employed by a reputable company. I filled out an application on line for customer service. In 24 hours i received a called from Wallace Morgan Marketing company. They set up a interviewed date and time . April 23, at 2:45 was my appointment. When i entered they address in Hopstop, it said the address was invaild and they gave a list of vaild address in the area.
None of them fit. So i finally called the HR Recruiter and she lead me in the right direction which i had to walk 9 blocks extra. I finally made it to the building and it was dark, i signed in went to the elevators. The elevators had broken and exposed wires and lighting over the elevators. I get to the 6 th floor and it was 20 people waiting to be interviewed. They asked who i was there to see and gave me a clip board with an application on it and told me to put my resume with it. The receptionist got up with her laptop after i arrived and another girl came and took her place with her own laptop.
As i sat there i was looking around and noticed as they called people in the interviews last no more than 3 minutes and less. There was a big conference room and two men where in there interviewing 2 separate candidates for positions. I was finally called in and He asked what did i know about the company and i told him what i read in the literature they sent me. He asked me three questions and said he would not keep me long and said the HR recuriter would call me between 5 and 6. They called me after six and asked me could i come in friday at 9am and to bring a notebook.
Something did not sit right with me so i googled the company to find reviews or complaints and i found serveral. I am very uncomfortable giving my personal information out and i didnt not want to do it again with this company. I did it with a real estate company before and they have my social security number and they did not want to pay me. It took me for 4 weeks to get my pay from these people. I truly do not want this to happen to anyone else. If it doesnt look and feel right, do not desperate walk away you will find employment with a reputable company. Wallace Morgan is a scam ,Beware.
