First of all, the drug is called Lovenox. Second of all, why would you turn such "expensive" drugs over to a store without getting a refund in return? Why didn't you take the drugs back when you allegedly were not given the refund? Third, since when are prescription medications refundable at all? The last time I checked, federal law prohibited prescription returns due to possible tampering of the medication by unscrupulous people.

By law (FDA), unfortunately, pharmacies are unable to refund any correctly dispensed medication ordered by your doctor. Even if the doctor later says the patient does not need the previously ordered medication. When people return medications to the pharmacy, it will be destroyed in a proper manner. This is due to safety regulations concerning medications leaving the pharmacy. It is more safe not to give another patient a returned medication, since it could be tainted in some fashion.

Did you get some kind of receipt when you returned these items? From past experience, the pharmacy's policy is, "you bought it, it's yours". I really can't see them ever giving you a refund. The pharmacy industry is just about the only place that legimately can not give refunds for products that do not work. Believe me, I know from experience. Please keep me posted as to how this whole thing comes out, I'm very interested.
