Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I dispute some transactions that show up on my Money Card I have thru Wal-Mart day before yesterday.  This morning I wake up to find my paycheck posted, as it should to the card, no problem.  My wife and I go out to run our errands for the day.

We get to the local gas station to get gas, my card declines at the pump, not a problem, happens all the time.  I go inside, still the card declines, that’s a problem.  I go to the ATM, I’ll just draw out the cash, nope that ain't happen either, not only could I not get cash, it would not even let me do a balance inquiry.

I call customer care, I’m told my card was canceled and I should receive a new card within 7 to 10 business days.  I ask them about the funds on the card, how do I access them.  The bottom line, I don’t, I’m stuck, all of our money goes on the card thru direct deposit.  One would think you could go to Wal-Mart and get your money, nope they don’t do that either.

You do this with a bank it is no problem, you can walk into the branch and draw out cash or just write a check.  You do this with the Wal-Mart Money Card and you are in trouble, you have to wait, you have no way to access your money.

It may not be a rip-off in the literal sense but it is certainly deceptive in they do not tell they are canceling your card, you find out the hard way, trying to pay for something and your card being declined.  I told the person I spoke with on the dispute not to cancel the card.  This is the price we pay for letting companies, as they say where I’m from, “get too big for their britches.”

I thank you in advance for your attention.

I know it's outrageous. These Corporations no longer see humans but rather dollar amounts.

Then when you speak with someone from customer service, they hear how upset you are, they must have some human in them, but they give you these non emotional responses like they were a computer or something.

Back in 2010 I had my bank of 13 years pull a dandy on me, I received a check for $2,000 from a person that also had a account with the same bank. (Tri City National Bank Wisconsin).

I endorsed the check and deposited it.

I was moving out of town and that deposit was the last thing I did as I left the state. The next morning, I pull into a gas station on fumes and my card was declined. I had a couple thousand plus that depsit in there.

I called the bank and was informed that the check I deposited was written by someone that owed them $250.00 dollars on a closed account. So they took the $250.00 out of my money and closed the account.

The check was good, so they said they would take all my money and send it in a certified check to my last known address.

I explained to them that I just moved out of there, and the check will be in the mail forever until it arrives at my new address and I am stuck at a gas station in no where land. I had no money, kids, dogs, and they pull this.

I was in good standing with this bank for years, now they in a sense made me pay someone elses debt to them and then punshed me for being affliated with this person they had some problem with.

What the hell?????

I had to beg and plead with this woman to reopen my account, it felt like life or death. 90 degrees, kids, dogs and no money, no where to turn. She finaly agreed to reopen the account and she acted like she was some kind of hero for doing that.

To this day, I never ever trust a bank with my money and everytime I think about it, I cant believe a bank can behave so badly.
