Walmart/Asurion warranty Extended warranty ripoff from walmart/Asurion warranty. Taylor, michigan Nationwide
Purchased a 46" Westinghouse Flat Screen and a 3 year extended warranty. Service rep came out and explained that the repair would exceed the cost of a new set but the idiots may decide to repair it anyway. Two weeks without a TV called to complain and the idiots tell me that it will be at least two more weeks because the supplier is moving the warehouse and parts aren't available. No attitude towards customer service here at all. Asurion is the name of the warranty company but walmart is responsible for the customer service. I'll be calling the store manager tomorrow but don't expect any satisfaction. Don't buy electronic from a retailer like walmart, they just don't give a d**n---too big to care. Buy local and price compare, use walmart for what they are worth, just a price without service. I'll call may attorney and get the cost of my warranty back and then I'll go to a reputable dealer and repurchase.
