Walter Mortgage Company ripped off in ohio Charlotte North Carolina
i bought a home from these people in 2007 and lived in it for almost a year. i paid them 394.06 a month plus the insurance on the home when the payments reached almost a year a guy by the name of jerimiah phoned me and told me that they had taken over the place of the man i had originally purchased it from. when i first bought the house i had an agreement from the first man that they would either put me in a septic system and a water tap or a septic system and a furnace for heat. i told him i would take the septic system and water that i would put the heat in myself.it went on for a month or two and i never heard any more from them until this man jeriamiah contacted me to tell me that i would have to pay him seven hundred and some odd dollars.i told him i couldn't pay that kind of money because i recieved disability and didn't recieve that much money. i asked him what it was for he said taxes and the paperwork never was sent to me on the home. i contacted lawrence county courthouse and they told me i didn't owe any taxes on the home.jeramiah called me every five minutes until i just abouthad a nervous breakdown over this home,i couldn't take anymore of him telling me i had forfieted on the contract and i would have to move. i had spent 900 dollars on the down payment plus 394.06 per month house payment and 60 dollars per month house insurance on the house for almost a year all i could do is cry everyday because i was struggling over this.he wouldn't except my payment unless i had the full 700 and some odd dollars or i could move. i wasted alot of money on this house and i feel i was ripped off big time luckily my brother had a small mobile home right in front of where this home is located and i moved in it.the last time he called me back he had aggrivated me so bad he told me he would give me back my 900 dollar deposit if i would sign the house back over to them i told him if it would get him off my back i would so i met him at a bank of mine and gave him back the house. i have never been treated like this by anyone in my forty years of life and i will never deal with these kind of people again no one should be treated thet way.
