Walt's Affordable Tree Service Walt Price Unreliable, Rude, Unprofessional, and damaged property while cutting our trees indianapolis, Indiana
My husband and I had three large Ash Trees we were looking to be removed, we had searched different tree companies for an affordable price and ended up hiring walt price with walts affordable tree service to do the job. He was scheduled to be at our house and start the job at 11 am on a Tuesday morning, I had rearranged my plans for the day accordingly with the work we had scheduled to be done on that day, by around 1:30 pm when walts tree service still hadnt arrived to start the job I tried contacting him by the number on a flyer he left when he knocked on my door and first scheduled our job, but all I could get was an answering machine.
Finally, by 2:30 pm he arrived at my home and started the work, when I asked him why he was late and hadnt at least given me a courtesy call, his response was very short and rude. So, already frustrated I allowed him to do the job for us. During the time he was working I noticed he had a very young child working on my property with him, I was very concerned with his safety so i asked Walt how old he was and he informed me that he is nly twelve years old, i then told him I was very uncomfortable with a child that young working on my property due to liability issues, then remembering the labor laws in the state of indiana, i became upset.
By around 10:30 pm walt came to me and informed me that he needed to come back the following day to complete the job, he also asked if we coild go ahead and pay him for the job so that he could pay his employees for the days work, so being the generous people we are we went ahead and paid him, trusting that he would return the next day. The following day I waited at my house all day for him to arrive, he never showed up or even had the courtesy to call. So after this lesson was learned my husband and I ended up having to call another tree service out to complete the unfinished work. Lesson is: Walt's Affordable Tree Service was the worse experience I have had with any business! Please save yourselves the time, money, and hassle and be aware of the scam artist that runs this very small unprofessional business!!!

I am currently looking for a good tree service to remove a large Maple Tree in my front yard, is there any way you could post Walt's affordable tree service's contact number so that I could give them a call to get an estimate and could you tell me if they do free estimates and is there also any way I could get your name and phone number to call you as a reference for the work they have previously done for you, if you could provide me this information it would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

My husband and I have used the services of Walt's Affordable Tree Service a couple of times. We had received estimates from several different companies and found Walt's to be the best price and they were the most professional. The first time we needed to have 2 trees and a stump removed. The second time they removed a tree and also did some landscaping. They arrived on time as scheduled, were very polite and respectful. Finished the job in the amount of time as promised and we were very pleased with the work they had done. We would recommend Walt's Affordable Tree Service to anyone needing this type of work done. You will be pleased with the fairness of the pricing/quality of work as well as the amount of respect you receive from Walt and his employees.
