Wamu/Chase Wamu/Chase - LIE to homeowners Phoenix Arizona
I have been working with Wamu/Chase for my home modification for well over 4 months. I've complied with all the rules and sent them all the required documents but until today, July 16, 2009, I haven't heard from them regarding my loan modification. I have been calling them at least once or twice every week to check on the status and every single time, they told me to wait as they're working on my case right now. I've spoken to other homeowners who are doing the same thing for their home with Wamu/Chase and they told me that they're having the same problem. I truly believe that Wamu/Chase is purposely doing this to the troubled homeowners as a strategy just to comply with the government's requirements for the bailout money they got. They don't intend to help the homeowners and that's why they play the delaying game. I've heard from other homeowners who did everything they needed to do for the loan mod with Wamu/Chase and finally received a rejection letter after 6 months and the letter stated that they missed some sort of paperwork which is a complete lie. They will delay the process as long as they possibly could and reject your application when they can't delay any longer. I think that somebody has to put a stop to this as it really causes homeowner like me a tremendous emotional distress. This is wrong and it has to stop.
