Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I recieved a letter in the us postal mail telling me I was eligible for continuing coverage on my car. I called the company and told them that I wanted my airconditioner to be covered as it seem here in Florida that is what normally goes out on a car. I had this coverage on two previous cars and never used it.

This year my 99 Nissan quest air went out, I needed a evaporator core. I called the company to find out how I went about getting this repaired since I had never used this insurance before. I was told I needed to have the car at the repair shop before I could call in a claim.

So I to take off work go to the shop with my car, the mechanic called in the estimate, and then the warranty company called me to let me know that the mechanic could get the evaporator for 595.76 but that the warranty company could get it cheaper so if I wanted to go with the repair shop I would have to pay the difference. I said I would pay the difference as I did not want to have to wait for warranty acceptance to find the part and ship it to us.

I was told at this time that the labor was fine. The only thing that the warranty was going to cover was the evaporator core, the other parts o rings, ac dye, freon etc were not covered. On the front page of my policy it says first $500 our copayment 80% up to $500, amount over $500, 100% up to contract limit deductible $100 trans and engine $25 all other repair.

I mailed in my bill for 1,273.87 ---- 595.76 was the evaporator core, $420 was labor and rest was the other parts that were not covered. Two weeks later I recieved a check for $220.00, I called the company and was told there was a $300 limit on repairs. I told him that I was told the labor would be covered, but he said no limit is $300. I specifically asked for the air conditioning to be covered and there is no way that for $300 that it could be fixed. I was never told up front of this limit.

I hope that telling my story will keep others from falling victims to this scam of a company.

I can definately see why this Corporation paid very little on your air conditioner. It is because they make up rules along the way. I had similar experience with them. Out of $4,800.00 Warranty Acceptance Corporation paid me $191.00. The best advice I can relay is: Stay Away from them! Do not buy this so-called insurance.
