Do NOT do business with Rudy Worrell or Wave2Net.com in Winchester, VA or surrounding counties. Rudy will require a two year contract binding you to him and will not deliver on service he promises.

Rudy Worrell SOLD his company as a responsive internet service provider offering 4Mbps download and 2Mbps upload speeds for $77 per month. NOT ONCE in more than a years time have those speeds been achieved according to an online speed test.

Rudy Worrell's Wave2Net returend 0.14Mbps download, 0.44Mbps upload, and a 196 ping last weekend! My data connection through my phone carrier was faster.

Rudy Worrell doesn't understand why I email him directly and EXPECTS me to stop bothering him! When he does call back, he won't shut up! He interrupts you and won't let you get a word in edgewise. In my opinion, he has ZERO communication ability as typically is the case with many "tech heads". He likes to "talk at you" instead of work with you. 

As I define a SCAM, Rudy Worrell and Wave2Net have the perfect little "deal" going. They are oversubscribed in Shawneeland and in my opinion should be charging no more than $35 for thier pathetic "dial up" speeds that were achieved recently! STEER CLEAR OF RUDY WORRELL AND WAVE2NET IF YOU WANT REAL INTERNET SERVICE!

It is interesting that the author of this "supposed" reply saying they are "Charlie" actually shows it came from a DIFFERENT Ripoff Report screen name account than that of the original post.  It is ALSO very interesting that this "supposed recant" came on the very same date that Wave2Net then immediately and subsequently posts on this same thread.  It really sounds like someone from Wave2Net misrepresented themselves with another Ripoff Report account, posing as the original poster.  You can tell from the tone of the original post vs. the "recant" that they are too entirely different authors.

If you are going to lie and pretend to be the original poster, at least make it believable and don't be dumb enough to then post as the company right behind it on the same day, making it blatantly obvious that it was indeed the company that posted the "recant" reply.

Then again, who would expect anything different from this company, if you have done your due diligence on their history, and spoken with enough of their former clients.

It really is pretty sad when you have to "pretend" to be your own pissed-off client just to try to gain some positive press and try to put a positive spin on a pretty brutally honest inital posting.

If you are reading this thread and you need to find a provider that is not in the business of doing the things posted here by the original poster, then you may want to look at our internet service and give it a try.  Unlike Wave2Net, we do not have a two-year "ironclad" contract that we will then sue you in Frederick County court if you attempt to breech for ANY reason, even if the provider cannot provide you reasonably decent service.

Our service is our contract, if you don't like what you are paying for with OUR company, you can cancel anytime you like, and there are no termination fees, no lawsuits, no harassing phone calls, etc.

Yes, you may also find negative reviews about our company, which is common in the utility industry.  So, try us out for yourself with a 30 day 100% money back guarantee and decide for YOURSELF, not from what you may read online.  One thing you can guarantee - there are no bait and switch sales tactics with our company - that is why we have NO CONTRACT, period.

To whom this report may concern, 

My name is Charie and I filed the initial report regarding the customer service and management communication that I've had with Rudy Worrell and his staff at Wave 2 Net. 

Since my report, I've met with and spoken to Rudy and his staff and am satisfied with the resolution he provided me. I have since moved to a community offering 4G LTE data service through my family of 5 unlimited data through my smartphone carrier. 

Rudy has graciously removed my early termination fee. He had also eliminated my monthly admin fee by paying my bill automatically and without an invoice. 

I'd like to extend an apology to Rudy and his staff for being disrespectful. His company is doing the best they can and is a far better solution than the others I've tried in the past. It is my hope the Rip Off Reports would remove my complaint but if they don't, is my desire to set the record straight.

Wave2Net is constantly updating and upgrading its network capacity and capabilities to meet consumer needs.  This includes customer site equipment and equipment at our NOC and towers.  We take pride in providing services to areas with limited or no options for Internet connectivity.  We price our services to be competitive while allowing us to maintain delivery of quality services to our customers.

When working with our customers on any matter we maintain a high level of professionalism and respect.  We understand that sometimes there will be unhappy, upset and even irate customers.  However, if any customer becomes abusive in any way, we are not willing to further communicate with them until proper communications can be achieved.  We certainly welcome respectful dialog at anytime and are always available to address any matter.
