I received an eMail message asking me to call 866-722-7209 to confirm my order. When I called, the respresentative I talked to, who would not give me his name, used HIGH PRESSURE techniques to sell me an "extended warranty". He said that the camera purchased from him did not include a manufacturer's warranty. He explicitly said that unless I bought his extended warranty, the camera I received would most likely be broken. He said that he was recording our phone conversation, and if I tried to reverse the transaction with my credit card company, he would play the tape for them, and they would cancel my account for fraud. He again stated that the camera I received would be broken, and I would have to pay $600 to get it fixed and hung up the phone. (Interesting since the purchase price of the camera was to be $205).

When I called back, I told him I wanted to make sure I had understood him correctly -- that the camera he was planning to ship would be broken. He confirmed that it would indeed be broken. He pressured me to cancel the order and buy the camera from someone else.

When I called back a third time, he still would not give me his name and was very rude. I asked who I should talk to complain about the way I was treated, and he asked, "Did you cancel the order?". I said that was not the question I asked. He again said I had cancelled the order and hung up the phone.
