WAYNE COUNTY FRIEND OF THE COURT WAYNE COUNTY FOC LAZY, UNEDUCATED, RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DETROIT Michigan
My youngest turned 18 this month. My ex went into the FOC and paid the account off in full using CASH! FOC provided him with the wrong amount to pay, therefore he over paid! This payment was made on June 2nd.
June 9th I call to see where the payment is and I was told there was a "hold" placed on our account because he had over paid and it could take six months for the money to be released!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the heck? A gentleman at the FOC sent a request to release the hold on the 9th, I was told this could take 28 business days to do so! Everytime I call I get a different answer, 15 days 28 days blah blah blah, bottom line is there should have NEVER been a hold placed on this account as it was simply over paid due to bad information given from the FOC to begin with!!!!!
I called Lansing MISDU and they investigated the case and I was told that Wayne County should have NEVER put a hold on my account, funds should have been released and a refund check cut to my ex! Lansing sent an email over to Wayne county telling them to remove the hold on the 23rd and Wayne County agreed to do so, it is the 29th and they STILL have my money!!! My ex has paperwork stating his account is paid in full but Wayne County is sitting on my money!!! I am having a graduation party for my son soon, the invites are out and I need this money to complete his party!!! It is a sad day when I am begging for them to give me my money!! Why are they holding it? Are they collecting interest on it for as long as they can becaue Detroit is BROKE!!! NOT my problem! This is out of control. Lansing emailed them again yesterday to see what was going on....apparently no one had time over there from stuffing their faces, laughing at other peoples expense, surfing the web etc!
Look people of the Wayne County Friend of the Court!!! Push the button!! It is simple, give me my money!!! There is NO reason I have to sit here stressed out daily only to speak to incometant people that sound like they have not slept in weeks!! Overworked? My butt!!! I work too, and by the way, I work hard.....I would not have a job if I performed as porrly as you people!!!
