I found (we fix it today) Patrick Carpenter on craigs list Dallas, linked to the web site and they appeared on the up and up. I wrote Patrick a $300.00 check for materials and he never returned! I called several times left several messages. (We Fix It Today) @ http://www.wefixittoda... is a company that was established as a D.B.A (doing business as) in Texas, Denton County on 8-31-2011. Patrick Carpenter listed as owner. A.K.A.( Carpenter Contracting) D.B.A Collin County 10-15-2009, (Carpenter Construction) D.B.A. Collin County 6-15-2011. Also he has opened D.B.A.'s as (EMPOWERED INVESTMENT GROUP) Collin County 11-3-2010, (ASCENSION INVESTMENTS) Collin county 1-24-2011. Check out the reviews of Patrick Carpenter www.yelp.com as (Carpenter Contracting, and Carpenter Construction). Take a close look at the Web site of (We fix It Today). It was built in 2011, there is a P.O. Box as a address, no names of owners, workers and I was unable to verify any of the wonderful things they had to say about themselves or the awards they claim to have won. DO NOT GIVE ANY CONTRACTOR MONEY UNTIL YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH THE JOB!!! If they want money for materials, or to get started, or if they start the project then ask for money, send them on there way!!!! Make that clear before they give a estimate or come to your home. You would like to trust them as I did and now I am $300.00 poorer for it.
