Web Sheriff is an elite rip-off company that spams content owned by others by claiming their clients own it. They have very few clients who are reputable, although they claim otherwise. It's association with the UK is equal to that of the Nigerian Scam artist and nothing more. They solicit youtube and ask for copyrighted material to be removed without having any legal authority to do so.
Web Sheriff claims to be an internet policing company based in the United Kingdom, to acts against media copyright violation by websites, privacy violations, domain name squatting, and illegal websites by sending "take-down" notices or so they claim. They have only been in business for 2 years and are not effective and are destructive to others people's intellectual property rights.

Hey Web Sheriff, the truth is still out there, and you can't sue Rip off Report, or the consumer that exposed you, because you are SOL. Meaning the Statue of Limitations has expired. See Web Sheriff is all talk and no walk and therefore A SCAM. If anyone has had contact with Web Sheriff cuss them out, and ignore them, as they are nothing more than that big mouth punk on the street asking for your lunch money. Record any and all phone calls if you live in a "free state" that allows for one party consent, google Can We Tape? by the reporters committee for a free press, and please upload the call onto youtube and tell them you are doing that right after you hang up. If everyone keeps doing this, then that scam outfit known as Web Sheriff will shut down!!!

Dear RoR Readers (& Everyone),
This is simply to confirm / inform you that the (defamatory) information contained in the relevant report was simply lifted by the author from a bogus / malicious entry on Wikipedia ... .. this bogus entry / misinformation (known on Wiki as vandalism) has already been removed from Wikipedia not by Web Sheriff but by Wiki editors and suitable, legal action is being taken by us against those responsible (the person who posted the vandalism having already been suspended by Wikipedia).
Similarly, legal action shall now also be taken against the supposed author on RoR and, potentially, against RoR itself for failing in our view to enforce their own Terms & Conditions / Acceptable Use Policy by failing to remove false entries, even where the relevant entries / reports (eg. that we have only been around for 2 years and are similar to a ... Nigerian scam ... ) are clearly bogus and maliciously motivated. Fyi, Web Sheriff has been in business for nearly a decade and all of its clients from the worlds of Music, Film, s****.>
