For the last two years, I have been clicking on a number of Paid To Read Sites. Some I automatically unsubscribed to because it would take years to accumulate anything close to a payout.

I am a free member on these sites. This means I view the ads and then when I reach payout I ask for the cash.

I settled on 10 of them for various reasons this past year. Three automatically went off line with no comment around the time I was ready for payout. I left one because they no longer worked with Paypal. Two of them had the guts to say they could no longer sustain the business and were selling or closing their doors with a big "sorry" to those faithful clickers.

One site who is battling to stay alive finaly issued a memo at how they are paying out. When I sat down and figured it out. They were two years behind in making payments. And, it probably would be three years before they got around to paying me. So once again I unsubscribed.

Since September of 2004 I have been asking Webber Cash for payment and continued clicking at the minium rate to retain my membership. I have not been paid. And they refuse to answer emails. But they do have funds since, they recently have a new web design.

My last email to Webber Cash, I mentioned the Federal Law about truth in advertising. They still did not answer me. You see all they sites promote free membership and often give in their website home page the amount of the minimun payout for free members. Webber Cash states it will pay out when a free member reaches $45. Also in their rules, it stays they pay in 30 days.

So I want all readers of Rip-Off to realize that my experience has been NO MONEY from Paid To Read sites. To all those people who promote or own these sites, I hope you hear my one small voice and realize that many like me are not happy with the way the business is handled. I also hope readers who like me were hoping to click away to small rewards, realize that Paid To Read (PTR) sites are a huge rip-off.
