I purchased one month of weight watchers online in June. After two weeks, I decided that the service wasn't worth the cost. I decided not to renew. However, I apparently did not read the terms of service/small print closely enough.
They automatically renew your subscription without telling you. They have charged me for June (the month that I purhased), plus July, August, September, October, and November at a rate of 16.95 each month.
I have emailed them at least 20 times. After about 15 emails, they decided that I can have a refund of 2 months. What about the other three months of service they charged me for but I did not use?

How does Weight Watchers explain a THREE MONTH trial membership which contains the fine print that it will renew if not canceled. How is this a THREE MONTH subscription? This is highly deceptive. The average consumer (like me) reasonably relied on the wording of THREE MONTHS, to mean THREE MONTHS. What meaning do these words have otherwise??
Highly deceptive wording, use of boilerplate. I am shocked at Weight Watchers engaging in such practices which have destroyed their fine image in the mind of myself and other consumers.

Directly under the payment plan choices it says in large font... "PLEASE NOTE: Your subscription will be automatically renewed at the end of your payment plan at the standard monthly rate (currently $16.95) until you cancel." here is a direct link to it https://www.weightwatchers.com/signup/StepOne.aspx What more do you want? And how would they know you did not use the service? Not all web sites monitor account log in's. For privacy reasons I wouldn't want a web site to log every time I log in. An finally I'm sure some people have subscriptions and go months between log in's on purpose because they don't want to have to resubscribe. I know I for one have had magazine subscriptions I didn't read and Netflix I didnt use for a few months until I finally decided I would just cancel and resubscribe in the future.
