Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
We have an account with wells fargo financial. My husband had a sudden drop in income due to a job change within the same compnay from working overseas to returning to a position back here in the USA.

We got the account with wells fargo financial while being overseas on a project. We are Americans. We returned, and due to a large income drop, had fallen behind by one payment. We explained to them that we did have other creditors who we must laso pay. However, we would continue to make the monthly payment, and we would catch up when we were able to. They have it on their computer that my husband gets paid monthly and the circumstances involved.

However, they keep calling us night and day with some pre-recorded message first that tells us to remain on line because all of their service personnel are busy. Never mind that they are the ones calling us!

Then they call us with the same thing that they called us about the day before. Never mind nothing has changed since the previous day! They also contact my husband at work. He has told them that contacting him at work is not convenient for him as he is an engineer working for a defense company and thus is very busy. But they are free to call him at home. They ignore his request and continue to "hound " him both at work and me at home. We explained the circumstances involved every time they call. And they continue to harrass us. They also have contacted my mother who is 82, frail in health, and has no business with them whatsoever!

This is outright harrassment! How does one make them stop the continual harrassment? We are paying them the normal monthly payment!

I am not sure how it is in your state, but in Minnesota, once you request that a "collector" NOT call you at work, that is it. If they call you at work again after being asked not to, that is considered harrassment and they can be reported (to the attorney generals office, I think) and can face a fine for each call made, in some circumstances you would be intitled to restitution for the harrassment. I would suggest that you call the A.G.'s office in your state and find out what the law is as far as collectors calling you at work. Or your state might have this info on-line. Worth checking into. FYI- the is a rather large fine involved for calling before 9am or after 9pm. Good Luck
