Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Wells Fargo has called our company to discuss personal matters with an employee, This employee TOLD them to STOP calling him at work they will get him fired. They did, He was terminated because wells fargo called at least 5 times a day. against FDCPA LAW. But it did not stop there. After this poor employee was terminated Wells Fargo CONTINUED to call at least 6 times a day to speak to this previous employee.

Our firm has called and spoke with a supervisor who said I will take care of it. WRONG the calls continue DAILY at least 6 times a day. They are calling our 800 number and tying up our lines, making it hard for us to receive calls from our clients. We have wrote them letters to the corporate office explaining all of this, But the calls continue.

I have told them that we will document all calls and time that they have wasted of our receptionist and they will reimburse our firm. They found that funny and continue to call our firm. We have nothing to do with this company.

Funny thing is one of our larger clients have a home that was unfortunely financed thru Wells Fargo and he finds them a complete joke to deal with and plans on re-financing soon so that he does not have to work with such a pathetic group of uneducated people.

WARNING TO ALL - If you deal with this pathetic company, be prepared to have to deal with these idiots. It would scare me to deal with a company that does not even follow the FDCPA LAW. If they dont mind breaking the FDCPA LAWS what else dont they mind doing?

Must have received alot of bail out money- You cant tell me a company with such lake of education and professionalism did need money to keep them going. It cant be their customer service skills, education, or professionalism that they are known for.

Let me correct both of you (wells fargo employee's?) The former employee notified Wells Fargo IN WRITING that he had a new job with our company. At that time he told them that he was not to except personal phone calls to our company as every employee has been told when hired. He was not let go from our company from just 1 PHONE CALL. He was let go for Wells Fargo calling several times a DAY to our company on our toll free lines.

Our company contacted Wells Fargo via FAX in writing telling them he is no longer with this company and to stop calling our company. Yet to this day Wells fargo continues to call several times per day, each time we talk to a different rep. each call and tell them to refer back to the notes and stop calling us.

FYI Our firm has nothing to do with Wells fargo (thank GOD). Wells fargo has devulged information in detail about this debt to our company about this ex-employee. Wells fargo is harassing a company that does not have anything to do with them. The fact that the ex-employee has not given them a updated number to contact him, is NOT the responsibility of the ex-employor, besides what makes you think the company that fired him would have it DUH!

Why would a company post with RR.  Something smells fishy here.  The company already fired the employee.  After 1 phone call after he was fired, Wells Fargo would have been told he is no longer employed.

Why would a collector waste his time calling the employer, knowing the employee did not work there?  The company is not going to pay the bill.

Also, FYI, the request to stop calling the work phone has to be made in WRITING.

Until the employee notified Wells Fargo in writing, it can call there all it wants.  It s obvious to be that the employee either had no other contact number, or he changed his number to a unlisted number, so he could not be contacted by creditors.

When he was called by wells fargo, and he told them to stop calling at work, he should have given them other contact numbers.

I used to collect bad checks for a living.  I had one woman who bounced several checks to a grocery store.  All we had was her work number, she had moved to a different address, and had a unpublished phone number.

we called her several times at work to try to get her to pay for the checks, but she kept telling us to stop calling her at work, so we asked for another phone number, she refused.

I turned the checks over to the DA's office, and we filed charges.  We gave the police her work phone number, and address.  They arrested her at work, END OF STORY!!!

The moral of the story is, she should have given us a alternate source to contact her, so we could make arrangements for her to pay these checks.  Now instead of paying them off, she went to JAIL!!!

FDCPA law does not apply to Wells Fargo.

FDCPA law applies to third party collection agencies.  Since WF is using their internal collection department that law does not apply to them.

Most reputable companies will follow it anyway.
