I seen West Coast Audio had an ad on craigslist Sacramento, for a Alpine deck that was $110 with FREE installation, so i called them asked them if they had it in stock and if it would fit my car 2000 Infiniti, so they told me over the phone that they don't know to bring it in and they will try it, so i took it in and he sold me the deck plus i had to buy the kit for it and the harness, he sold me the deck for 110 the kit for 25 harness for 39, and after i let him rip me off, he still wanted to charge me $20 for instillation so i told him bout the Craigslist ad, so he acted like he forgot bout it and didn't charge me installation but decided to not give me a discount we had agreed on, i really wanted my music on so i just let him install it, after waiting for 2 hours in the store with no seats inside they finally installed it, their was many crack heads running in and out the store within those 2 hours, they were very disturbing and ugly and annoying, after waiting all that time i get my car and it looks good, till 2 days later i noticed on top of the AC/Heater unit, it looks like someone shoved a screw driver in their and was all scratched up, and at the very very top of the dash, theirs a little unit where it has a button to click on it and it opens up a little slot where i uselly put my change, after i reached for some change, i noticed the door didint open up all the way, and it was also broken from the very top. they did a very poor installation and prices are very high. so if you ever go in their to get something installed make sure you look at everything around for any broken things or damage because they do a sloppy job.

You get what you pay for...

You were too cheap to pay for installation...well who do you want working on your vehicle? Someone who gets paid, or someone who works for free or for a company that values this skill as essentially worthless? Buyer beware.

POOR WORKMANSHIP > RIPPED OFF

So let me get this straight:

$110 for Stereo
$39 for Harness
$25 For Kit
$0 For Install

$174 Total you spent.

What did you expect for your money? Leather sofas and sparkling water with a foot massage while you wait and an installation from someone who is MECP Certified? It is internet consumers like you that make it difficult for people to stay in business. You got what you paid for. The amount of "profit" they made from your sale doesn't even cover the cost of the electricity bill for their time, the parts they used for the installation that you don't know about and not to mention the hourly minimum wage for the hack that installed your equipment.

I understand you felt you got ripped off. However, a more adequate place for this would be in yelp and not ripped off as you got your money's worth. I hate poor workmanship but, to say you got ripped off is a bit harsh especially in today's economy. I urge you to post in yelp as they get more traffic there and the shop can honestly use the wake up call if they are doing poor work even if it is free.
