Western Horizon Resort SCAM!!! Promises locations that they had already sold to private companies Gunnison Colorado
When we purchased our membership at Western Horizons resort we were promised numerous places we would be a member of. Well four days after we bought our membership for almost 7000.00 we went to make reservations at Emerald Cove one of our "Home" resorts In the Colorado River one of the only resons we bought this membership we were told that they were no longer a part of Western horizons and we could not stary there!!! What????? So we called WH and told them to cancel our membership and refund our money! Lynn Berry said it was over 3 day cancel period she wasnt going to help us. I wrote them and also called the company and got nowhere. 4 Days later!!. So just yesterday I noticed I had not recieved our yearly Due bill that was normally 259.00. So I called WH and asked what was going on she said they sold our home resort Colorado River Oasis and that it was now a private company and we make payments directly to them. What??? Why were we not notified at all!!! Why am I just finding out about this. So anyway I called Colorado River Oasis and it is now called Arizona Oasis and they are now charging us w299.00 for our WH membership dues and also are charging us 20 a night just to stay there. Which we were only charged for electricity before and had 7 days free and whatever else we had in the contract. This company is a ripoff!!! Do not ever buy anything with them they promise you the world then sell off all of the properties to private companies! and make no apologies or even notify you!!
