Westlake Financial Services Reporting a balance owed on vehicle that had been traded in for new vehicle 2003 Purchased car 10/01,traded car 9/03 and to this day on my 8/10/09 free credit reports, WESTLAKE FINANCIAL is actively reporting me as balance of $2059 past due 31-60 days pay history. rock hill South Carolina
I have reason to believe after all phone calls to get situation corrected, that there is not 1 sole that speaks fluent english. They are unable to locate my old account number and say " Unable to correct something that isn't there". This vehicle had been traded in nearly 6 years ago and according to most recent equifax report, i am behind of a balance $2059 with a pay history of 31-60 days late. I have tried disputing online with equifax, however, seems as if they cannot get anything done about the dispute either. I have a credit report for all 3 bureaus and this problem is only found on EQUIFAX. Somebody please help me as i am desperately needing to purchase a new vehicle and need the best rate available and with this showing, is nearly impossible. Thanks
