Westlake Financial Nasty, Deceptive and Ilegal Practices Los Angeles California
Both my wife and I were laid off from our jobs. We requested assistance with our loan and was told no. Mrs Lopez was very degrading, disrespectful and put words in my mouth. She refused to connect me with a supervisor to explain my situation. She hung up on me several times and threatened me.
They then started contacting my friends and relatives, disclosing personal information and harrassing them. I made a payment last week and am getting calls from a repo company. I have not received any correspondence from them or a statement in over 2 months. They identify themselves as investigators and one of them say their name is Investigator Lake.
I am afraid to send another payment, as I do not trust that they will not pick up the car anyway. I have read several reports on the web of their practices in violation of consumer protection laws. Where do we go to file complaints against them?
