Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This store's owners are unscrupulous, dirty, deceitful, and dishonest! They both should be featured on that show "Am***can Gr**d" as they stole $80.00 from me. Truth be told I don't care about the money, but the intent to deceive and swindle I find deplorable.

If anybody reading this has any friends or relatives who are contractors, be sure to warn them to collect all money upfront, have a contract signed, or risk not getting paid period! For the slightest mistake they will not pay you! It was only after I threatened to write about this experience on Yelp did they finally agree to offer a partial payment of $63 dollars! The total bill was $140 + about $35 worth of chemicals, they seem to think this is like "Name your price insurance." ("Prog***sive Insurance"). Let me make this clear I don't know any pet store and tell the store how much you will pay for a doggy biscuit.

Let me begin by telling all I received a frantic "911" like call from the staff at this store, begging me to come on short notice to clean their windows(I am a professional window cleaner) as they were having their grand opening in two days! I was already fully booked but to accommodate them, I came the next day. Truth be told, most window cleaners are just a little better than the homeowner, but I am a professional and the best on the North Shore. Now would it be suffice to say that was pretty nice of me to come quickly and on short notice? I would think so. Wouldn't it also suffice to say I normally charge $60 per hour, but gave them a discounted rate of $35 per hour? I would think so.

All my business is word of mouth and those that hire me, know my windows are absolutely gorgeous and truly amazing. That said, I spent 4 hours working very hard, using special chemicals, scrapers, buffing compound, and a high speed buffer to completely separate myself from the competition. But in spite of my best efforts, there was grease splatter on several parts of the inside windows, that even my degreasers was ineffective at removing them. I told the staff, I didn't want to do a subpar job and that I would go home, and get a very special chemical that was harsh, but would definitely get rid of all the grease. Now wouldn't you all agree that was pretty nice of me? I wanted to be sure the job was done right. I could easily have just washed the windows, leaving the greasy film that would most likely not be detected unless you were viewing the windows in direct sunlight. But me being the perfectionist and looking to please my clients, I took that extra step.

Now, in the process I had accidentally dripped some of the chemical I was using on their cement floor, causing a 8x10" copy paper size, to be completely discolored. The store told me they just had their floor stained by another contractor and while it was indeed my fault, to turn on me like a light switch, making threats, talking down, and giving me such an attitude I felt was unjustified. The amount of paint to re-stain that could not have been more than $5 worth and it was in a location where nobody would notice. I am sure dogs that come in and pee and poop would do far more damage, but nevertheless they now were looking to find any excuse to get free service. The owner was being extremely disrespectful and refused to pay me even 1 penny for the four hours I worked so hard.

I was completely shocked because I came here to do them a favor. Again, I came on short notice, I did an awesome job, anybody looking at how gorgeous the windows were, could easily determine the punishment did not fit the crime. I could understand them getting upset but to start name calling, telling me, "Stop begging." I was not begging but simply stated calmly that I earned the money. Then to belittle me even more, an innocent bystander observing our interaction would be horrified at how incredibly ugly the owner was behaving and how he treated me as if I was subhuman. After threatening to write about this experience on Yelp, he arrogantly said, "go ahead. I don't care." From what I took from that, is reckless behavior. I am sure if anybody had issues with a bagful of biscuits, the store would hold itself accountable, but what if by chance your pet was sickened by a product that required expensive vet care, would a store like this that has no sense of fairness accept accountability? All I can say if I read any review on Yelp where the owner or store was that barbaric to any human, I would never shop or spend my money at a store that is like that
