 We purchased a Gold Series French Door Refrigerator from Whirlpool. The refrigerator lasted one year then after that first year stopped coooling. We have had a service provider out to repair the same issue with the refrigerator 6 times now. We purchased a warranty through AIG to go with the refrigerator and under our contract with them it stayed repairs for the same issue more than 4 times would constitute replacement of the product under the lemon law. However, they are refusing to replace the product stating although we have had the same issue repaired 6 times it had only been under two claim numbers and therefore would need to be under 4 claim numbers before they would replace. They dictate when a new claim number is created and seems actions are being taken to avoid replacing them ur faulty product. In addition, countless repair people have statedWhirlpool itself is aware of these issues and knowingly continued to market and sell this product to customers. I feel we were sold a lemon and no one is standing behind their product or agreements to correct this issue for us. We have lost countless amounts of groceries and expensive medication for my child not to mention now Brest milk for my baby!!
