Actually the nice Nate could have been a common criminal hunting for your credit card number. Or the representative a scam company using a reputable company's name. My point: never give out your personal info, credit card, checking account number to anybody calling you with brilliant offers. Simply ask the info in writing, ask for the home page, and a number you can call them back if you interested. No legitimate company will refuse your request to reconsider the offer. Something else. In a stange way Nate was an "honest" man. If you read reports you can see that in 99% of the cases the companies' free trial period offer anything but free. Usually they make the cancellation impossible, so you are hit minimum with the first month membership. Btw companies are not required to offer the same promotion to everybody, everywhere. They have the right to give discounts only for people having certain zip codes, buying in certain stores, or only for on-line orders etc. Some companies use different (higher) prices for frequent on-line buyers - hoping they will buy it anyway. Nevertheless I DO understand your uneasy feelings.

Yesterday I submitted a report about Wholesale Marketer. I still stand firm about what I said about the salesman named Nate. He SHOULD have told me there was a free trial period. However, today I spoke with a representative of another company which has a huge web site and which is eBay certified. The rep shed a lot of light for me about Wholesale Marketer. He told me that they are truly a LEGITIMATE operation. Collectively they are able to negotiate prices for their members from LEGITIMATE wholesale / dropsshipers which would not be available to individuls even if these individuals were dealing directly with these companies. Wholesalesale Mrketer is not a middleman. They charge their members a fee which kind of serves as a "finders fee". There's nothing wrong with that. I'd rather pay a membership fee and know I'm getting good merchandise. I had an unfortunate experience with a company where I paid them a one-time set-up fee of $129. Yeah, i got my own web site but the wholesale prices which they charge me are outrageous. I have to adjust prices so much that there's hardly any profit for me. So, that's my two-cents worth. By the way, if you go and type into a search engine the words "product sourcing scams revealed" you will learn a hell of a lot.
