I tried to purchase 5 theme park tickets for Wild Waters online, on 5/26/2011. After I put in the necessary information, and clicked the purchased button, it told me that it was unable to process the transaction. I then left the website, and checked my bank balance online to make sure that the funds were infact available in my account. I saw then that, Wild Waters had tried to process the transaction TWICE! Both times with it being in a pending status...

I then figured that it was just in pending status and left it alone for a day waiting to see if it would roll off. I called Wild Waters, and was told by Pamela Hitchcocks (Sales Manager) that the pending charges will roll off after 48 hours. I waited the allotted time, and checked again. Still pending...

And remember we are talking about $497.40 in pending charges.

Two days later when it STILL had not rolled out of pending status, i called again, and was directed by Pam Hitchcocks to speak with Tammy in the Accouting and Finance department. I left a message for Tammy, and was assured by Mrs Hitchcocks that Tammy would call me back that day, (i left the message at 1 pm).

The day went on without a phone call. The following day, TODAY, (1 week later) I cannot reach Pam Hitchcocks. And when i tried again to reach Tammy in the Accounting department, i am told that she is on vacation, and that no one else can resolve my issue.

I am suppose to be taking my Girl Scout troop to Wild Waters in 3 days, and cannot purchase the tickets because Wild Waters has a hold on my account.

And, because they processed the transaction twice, i am also unable to use the excess money in my bank account to pay my regular bills. I have thus been charged a late fee with my credit card company, because the funds are not available to pay the bill, and am going to be charged a late fee with my insurance company for the same thing..

When i explained this to Brittany in the finance department, she told me that she is unable to help me, and i would have to wait for Tammy to come back from vacation.

So now, instead of paying $248.70 for 5 tickets, I have $497.40 on hold in my account and nearly $100 in late charges for bills that wont process because of the hold.. Even if they resolve this and release the hold, i am still out $100 because of their mistake!!!

Today i noticed that the holds on my account had been removed, although i never did get a call back from the infamous Tammy in Accounting...

So, i tried again to purchase the tickets that i needed, since my trip is in less than 2 days. This time, however, i was cautious.

I tried to buy just one ticket at first, to see if it would go through. And, i used a different form of payment, so that i can be sure that it is not my original card that is the problem.

So, that order, said that it cannot be processed, but it put a hold on my account. Thankfully this time is was less than $50, which is still not okay, but is better than the original nearly $500.

But, when i realized that the online payment option is just not going to work for me, i tried to call and speak to someone who could process the payment over the phone, so that i can get these tickets.

But, I STILL could not reach Tammy in Accounting.. And Pam in Sales, tried to transfer me, but actually hung up on me, and did not try to call back....

So i called again, and she did not answer... which confirms that she did hang up on me, not accidentally.

So, now, I cannot get tickets to take my girl scouts to the park that they chose, and I cannot get reimbursement for fees that originated because of their mistakes!!!
