I, too, was treated to the lousy service and downright scary business tactics of this company. I ordered a phone, car charger and decorative cover for my husband for Christmas on Dec. 19. Got an email shortly afterwards with the same old "out of stock" story.

I tried the email and phone several times, and got the same response everyone who filed a report got...nothing.

The phone did arrive, via DHL, a month later...DHL is another horror story for another day.

We waited another couple of weeks for the charger. I was finally able to get a response to an email, from Armando. Again...backorder. I replied that we had gotten the phone, and that when they shipped the charger and cover, we didn't want it going DHL because of all the problems I had with them. I was told, politely, but pretty much "too bad", 'cause that's how they ship.

Emailed Armando again after a week or so to inquire about the rest of my order. He checked on it, and said it had already been shipped and gave me a tracking number, AND told me I had signed for it. I patiently explained to him that yes, I signed for the PHONE. Where's the rest of my order? Still on backorder, says he. It will be mailed as soon as it comes in. Mailed? I replied. Yes, says he. They will send that part of the order regular mail. Hmmmm. What happened to no options but DHL? Not complaining, 'cause I hate dealing with DHL, but does this chicken have his head cut off? Seriously.

So...long story short, after two emails promising a free car charger for my trouble (do they seriously think I went two months without one? Bought one for six bucks off one of those carts at the mall) I lost my patience and did a little digging. Lo and behold...they are located in Agoura Hills, a town I drive thru every morning on the way to work!

So.....this brings us to today. I walked into their dumpy little concrete-floor office and spoke to the clerk at the front desk. Told her my story and that I wanted a refund. I made it clear that I would not accept a refund less a "restocking fee", since how can they restock what's not in stock...and she said I should see the credit on my card in a couple of business days. $15.64 is NOT a lot of money, but if i don't see it on my debit card pronto, I know where they are now, and I'm not afraid to go camp out.

Try this email address to get to Armando
