LyonCom Technical Confederation, as it was called, operating in Paintsville, Ky., was a computer repair ripoff company owned by William & Rebecca (Beccie) Lyon(s) of Thelma, Ky.

LyonCom ripped off customers that trusted them to do an honest job for a decent price. They ripped off their employees by refusing to pay them at all. They stalled in the payment process in order to buy enough time to file bankruptcy.

LyonCom and/or William and/or Beccie Lyon(s) may attempt to setup another computer related business in the tri-state area of Kentucky, Ohio, or West Virginia. They have ties in the Lexington, Ky. area as well and may attempt to setup there.

LyonCom and William Lyon(s) have been filed with the BBB in Lexington as a bad business and they have failed to reply to the BBB's inquiries about these same events.

I agree I had a local comp store do something similar, they started in business and got ripped off my someone they trusted to the tune of several 100k, so they started up again and had to borrow extensively just to get off the ground. Problem was, they started going under, so they decided to go out with a bang - they borrowed themselves heavily and also started selling 'dodgy' wares, things like a 286 in a 'pentium' case, used and quite frankly abused products that they knew would not or could not do the job they had said they would. They went bankrupt and owed my employer (another comp store in the area) money. We managed to get some of it back by the court as a creditor but we were not the only creditor on the list, out of nearly 50 people or businesses at the time of bankruptcy they owed several 100k and very few people ever saw the money. Get what you can I say, and its good your're warning people, they certainly won't stop in doing it again somewhere else.

If you haven't already, file a claim. I am not promising you will get all of your money, in fact, you may get only a portion (depending on how assets are liquidated). But I had a similar situation years ago and I did end up getting over half of what I was owed. Good luck.
