People who get unjustly fired tend to be bitter and they lash out with good reason.

I'm with you, Care Check. Wouldn't a great solution be for Willow Creek to come out and say that these conditions either didn't exist or don't exist now? Seems like a simple thing to do if the allegations are untrue. The fact that they're instead saying that they take this "extremely seriously" and that an investigation has been instituted and is ongoing, and trying to pass off the allegations as the work of former disgruntled employees only raises suspicion with them and indicates that the original info posted, as hard to read as it may be, is true.

LOL?!? Seriously? You think this is a laugh-out-loud matter? Not lies. Not lol lies. Not rumors. Not deception. Not malicious. Not defamatory. Facts. Bricks in the wall. This information is not commonly available to the public. But they need to know what's really going on so they can make informed decisions on where to place their loved ones for long-term assisted living care. An environment such as the one that exists at Willow Creek is unhealthy at best, and there are other options for people.

Unprofessional, incompetent and indecorous people will stoop to levels like this: sitting at home, sad, alone, bitter and mad at the world because they believe that they were somehow unjustly fired, or as they so clumsily labeled it in this fantasy piece they wrote, resigned these are grown adults who are misappropriating their anger on others, instead of reflecting on their own short-comings, and their lack of professional aptitude, which would at least afford them the opportunity to make necessary life & professional changes to avoid more humiliating terminations.
The two people who claim that they resigned are liars. They were fired. And for good reason. What should have happened is that they left peacefully and thought about what they did wrong and planned to make professional corrections. What actually happened is that they lashed out, spreading lies, telling half-truths, and using their lap-tops as weapons of mass destruction, like awkward teenagers, throwing unhinged hissy-fits because they cant go out to a party.
After reading these lies, posted on such a trashy and disrespected website, is it any wonder that they were let go? This behavior is indicative of how they performed at work. When they were not impishly plotting against their own spouses, they were directly (and indirectly) wreaking professional havoc on the company.
Its better for everyone that these two incompetent hucksters are no longer a part of the Willow Creek team. As you can see by the bitter tone, and the deceptive verbiage in these postings, they will certainly not be missed.
I hope that these two people find a healthier way to deal with their personal shortcomings. And I hope that they find some peace and realize that they can use this experience to better themselves, but they need to stop lying and spreading hate & hostility.

I have known Don Herman personally and professionally for years. He always handles himself and his business above reproach. It is truly sad that employees fired for misconduct can slander a man and a company with no proof. I have seen him effected by the loss of residents of his facilities. To watch an owner of a business like Willowcreek be personally affected by such tragedy speaks volumes of the type of man he is.
Furthermore what anyone chooses to do as a hobby in their personal lives in no way affects their business life. Don is an avid gun collector but does so responsibly and safely. Someone could commit suicide in countless ways and insinuating that Don is responsible for anyone's death because he gave them the weapon as a gift is cowardice and pathetic. The person that wrote this article is the same type of person that blames cars for killing people in accidents instead of drivers or McDonalds for making kids fat instead of bad parenting.

It is sad that rumors and lies are allowed on this site. People who get fired, for reasons their families should really look into, shouldn't be spouting this type of lie. Willow Creek has always been good to their residents. I do not work there, and I know th residents would love the chance to answer to this type of attack on their home.

Suicide? Guns and drugs? Resignations? Squandering investment money? I thought this was supposed to be an assisted living facility not a crazy action movie set. You asked, is Willow Creek the kind of place you'd want to have your parents or loved ones residing? After reading about what's going on there, my answer is most assuredly NO!
THANK YOU for posting this info.
