John S. Lee is very bad news.
I ordered a garden window through his website windows & more, Co. (sorry this web sight no longer exists). I paid "John" $1,529.95 with my capital one credit card for a milgard woodclad series premium fiberglass frame garden window. A great "deal" on sale for a limited time, (until aug. 12th 2011), after sale, price is 2,689.95! The window was to be delivered to my home 3 to 4 weeks later, custom manufacturing time.
I e-mailed "John" and attempted to call him several times during this waiting time, I always got a message that he was unavailable and to leave a message. I did not leave any messages, rather I kept trying to get through, over and over again at all times of the day, nothing, nada. I'm now very suspiscous, so I tried to pull up the website. GONE!
At 4 weeks to the day after getting no responses, I put a call into Milgard customer service dept. Ivery quickly discovered that they do not service the east coast at all, they do not deliver to customers homes and, most importanly, they do not know who "John" or his company are.
I contacted the capital One fraud dept., they took the money out of "John's" account and restored it to mine. If you pay by check, money order or cash you will never see your money again. STAY away from this thief!!
