Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
We got a phone call one night from Jim Stafford on November 17 stating we had been approved for a loan for $5000. All we had to do was send the first 5 payments in the amount of $759.60. We wired the money through money gram like they specifically told us to do.

The next day it was told to us that because of our credit score and history we needed to send $750 more and the money would be sent the next day into our bank account. Of course I told him that it all sounded like a scam and he told me to read the clause on the contract that was sent to me where it stated they could ask for more money. So I couldn't get all the money, I tried to explain the reason why we need the loan is because we didn't have the money so what was the purpose. I got the money by asking friends and family, I had already giving my house payment money just to pay the first amount.

Of course the next day I checked my bank account and the money was not there. I called them back and they said the lenders had backed off and that they were going to file a civil suit because of this. They could either refund our money or they had found another lender willing to give a $10,000 but we had to send $1550 to get it approved. I told the man that I could not afford that and that it was hard enough to get the first amount he had asked us for. He got very rude and stated that he didn't even have to speak with me that he was just trying to be courteous. He even raised his voice at me. I told him I wanted my money back. He stated the money would be deposited on December 15, 2008. I checked my account and it hasn't been deposited yet.

I really wished I could get my hands on these guys. They have no consideration for people who are desperate and struggling. I sure hope God takes care of them and they get a taste of their own medicine. If anyone knows someone that could help with this situation or maybe how to get these guys please let me know. I hope this will help others not to go through what I went through.

Obviously not - Why do people assume that some unexpected caller offering money is legitimate? WHEN YOU TAKE THE TIME TO DO THE RESEARCH - YOU DO NOT GET SCAMMED! I agree with first rebuttal - This SCAM has been out there, there was no "LOAN" - there never was -they were only trying to steal as much money from you as they could. You have no one to blame but yourself! You came here complain AFTER THE FACT- when you should have come here FIRST - before ever sending money to anyone. -BUT NO you can't be bothered with checking things out first - ITS TOO MUCH TROUBLE! THE INTERNET IS A TOOL - USE IT!

There is no way to get your money back. You foolishly sent it to someone you don't know in a foreign country. And, no, you probably won't help anyone with your post because most people, like YOU, do foolish things and THEN come here for help. You have no one to blame but yourself. WISE UP !!!! No lender EVER requires money to be paid up front for a personal loan. Do you not know this ???? Geeeezzzzz.
