As you can gather on this site with over 430 complaints, Wirefly.com/InPhonics simply does not fulfill rebates, whole, in a timely manner or at all. Instead it relies on a scheme of deliberate and elaborate obfuscation, delay and in many cases, mine included, finally denial.

I actually have e-mail promising the check is in the mail ($490) followed by snail mail denying my claim. I bought two Blackberries in April 2006. Did the rebate filing perfectly. twice actually because they closed the Phoenix, AZ rebate procerssing center. It's March and no rebate check.

Here's what I suggest and what I've done. Complain to your state attorney general and copy the DC AG's office. InPhonics recently settled a rebate case filed by the DC AG and apparently reserved a few million in settlement, so reads their financial filing.

InPhonics had revenue of $505.7 million year ended 12/06 and a loss of $17.3, perhaps explaining what's happening here.

Company officers include:

Daniel A. Steinberg, Founder, CEO, and Board Chair

Lawrence S. Winkler, CFO

Frank Bennett III, President MVNO ( an operating unit)

Brian Westruck, President Wireless Activation Services

InPhonics Inc. (Parent of Wirefly.com is located:)

Forget customer service..a total waste of time.
