I was responding to their offer of a FREE (after rebate) Motorola phone offer. $149.99 for the phone and $150.00 rebate.... 20 minutes into the conversation, after giving them ALL of my private information and credit card, He let's me know that I can fill out the rebate for the phone immediately and send it, and then he tells me that it takes 6 months to process the refund. i question the amount of time and he tells me that they want to make sure that I keep the service. I go to the website and this is the actual rules in fine print... (To qualify and redeem the rebate, and to avoid an equipment discount charge back of $250, your rebate submission must be postmarked no earlier than 180 days and no later than 210 days after your account is activated. Please allow 10-12 weeks for processing. Offer not valid for pre-paid service. Void where prohibited.) So you have to WAIT 6 months before sending in the rebate, and you have a 30 day window to do so.... Which means that if you DON'T file the rebate within this window it will cost you the $150 rebate + $250 for a total of $400... It's a bait and switch with the intention of NEVER paying the rebate offered, and then charging more.

Just for fun I decided to call this company again. This time when the rep answered the phone I let him know that our call was being recorded. He then hung up on me. This company knows they are a rip off...
