Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
The person who is writing this report happened to work for the company for a long time, and is ready to tell you the truth. Yes, some of you have posted some things on this board that have been very true and it's sad to say it doesn't suprise one bit.

This company has been in shambles for a long time, and tried to survive but couldn't. They sold their most profitable entity (Sam's Club's) to get themselves of debt to avoid bankruptcy.

I have seen some of the most ridiculous business decisions throughout the years and it's kind of sad to see a once promising company completley fold and start from Scratch.

I don't feel sorry for the upper management at this company at all. Have you ever received a HUGE paycheck for doing absolutely nothing ? We'll a lot of the upper level managers did exactly that NOTHING.

I wish their was a published percentage on turnover rate for this company because records would have been broken. Don't you think it would have been a lot smarter to set your managers and sales reps up for success instead of hanging them out to dry.

I feel really bad for the managers. First of all if you had a wife and kids and worked for this company your probably divorced now. This company took a "Non-Exempt" (saleried) employee to the extreme. It was required to work 85+ hours a week 7 days a week. Days Off.. yeah right count the national holidays on your calender and that was your time off for the year. Awesome way to motivate your people and run a successful company ?

The sales reps were the people who got really screwed in the whole deal. The company switches to a commission/draw system of pay and cuts hourly. They fooled everybody with this move. How are you supposed to motivate a sales rep to go to work everyday when they're getting paid straight commission and they have no inventory ?

Paychecks were messed up constantly. I thought pay day was supposed to be a good day ? It's sad to say that it was the worst day of the week when it came around. You never knew if you were going to get a check or if it was going to be right.

Of course your paycheck isn't going to be right when your company has no money. This company doesn't operate in Sam's Clubs anymore a company by the name of SC.KIOSK INC (subsidiary of Radio Shack) bought them out. The funny thing with this company is that it's really Wireless Retail with a different name. How can you expect a new company to be successful with the same executives who ran Wireless Retail into the ground. Answer that question.

This is going to be a funny post. Anyone who knows Buddy White knows he could probably lead troops into battle but he couldn't motivate anyone to take a Mercedes for $10.00. This guy is the worst motivator in the company ! Hello, wasn't he in the staffing side of the company for a long time ? Don't you think that was for a reason ? The real funny thing is that once the First Quarter rolls around the old WRI Senior Management Team will probably not have a job. If the Radio Shack Corporate Office doesn't realize now that the old WRI executive team is horrible. The Board of Directors for Radio Shack might want to look into getting a new C.E.O. Right now S.C. Kiosk is being ran just like the old WRI. They don't give a s**t about their employees and run their managers into the ground. Why in the hell would you have one manager in charge of 8 locations not anywhere near each other in the 4th Quarter and expect solid production ! These are the type of retard decisions that DESTROYED WRI ! Another thing why would you hire the entire MCI WORLDCOM Upper-Management Team when they bankrupted MCI, and almost Wireless Retail. Is their a chance that S.C. Kiosk Inc. could FAIL with the current management ? Yes, with out a doubt. If anyone from Radio Shack reads this POST please do the right thing and get RID of the entire SENIOR management team before it's too late. One more word of advice......."Stand behind your employees from the sales reps up" Don't let Buddy the General and Mr. Elliot who sends e-mails all day destroy this company. One more thing Buddy if you ever want to be a real leader read a book on possitive reinforcement and stop acting like WORLD WAR 3 has just started. Good Luck the rest of the 4th quarter.

You know if you really knew that much about WRI you would think you would at least know that their address is in Arizona not in Texas. You know I have seen so many crazy posts on here about WRI. I'm not here to set any record straight however I would like to simply say one thing. While I agree that a lot of the problems within WRI were at the corparate level it would be hard to agree with anyone that people at WRI's Corporate levels today are not doing their jobs. WRI will turn itself back into the right direction. At around the time WRI started going downhill was about the time a lot of the upper management and corporate level indiviuals now with SC Kiosk came to WRI and now they are all with SC Kiosk. Now if I was to say which side of the new deal is likely to fail first I woul have to think it would be the side that has the most people that failed first. The ony person who was good at the corporate level that is now with SC is Buddy White of coarse WRI did lose some great AM's and TM's but its not that level that makes the bigger decisions they just follow those. Thanks for the breif moment to state my opinion. Plese understand I am currently not working for WRI I am working for SC Kiosk and I work in WI where I have a terrible TM who is sleeping with a Co-Worker of mine. Now of coarse my AM thinks its just fine and dandy untill we begin to report this to HR and I know unlike in the past RadioShack will not stand by while things like this happen. Sometimes you have to look at the big picture and sometimes you dont.
