I recently graduated from WITS. This personal trainer certification is worthless. I've literally applied to every health club in my state and have been turned down by each and every one of them due to the fact that this certification isn't N.C.C.A. accredited. First off you're required to do a thirty hour internship which is fine but no facility on the list wanted anything to do with WITS or an intern.No one has ever heard of WITS so no one will hire me. I personally had to pay a personal trainer in order to get my internship hours so I could receive my certification.I was given a onetime cash assistance from the Department of labor for training so I could be marketable and now I'm screwed.I have a daughter due in two months and I've wasted my one chance of making a new start because I was duped by WITS.They say a sucker is born every minute but I never thought that sucker would be me.Just beware of WITS, it's only considered a novelty certification good for only teaching you the basics for personal experience.I've literally thrown my certificate in the trash.
