I have seen other reports of this happening to people. I have been a long time consumer at Wal-Mart and the customer service has got to be tops in the nation.

While my wmconnect service was in use the customer service was great. It was only after I tried to cancel my service that I started to have problems.

I called to cancel my service and the rep. told me I should try to piggy-back the wmconnect service on my cable service. I told him that the software had been removed from my PC, and that I DID NOT want to try that. This happened in July.

Now it is December and after 5 1/2 months and many calls later, I HAVE GOTTEN A CONFORMATION that my service has been cancelled. The only catch is that wmconnect is saying that they can not issue me any credit for the time that my account was not in use. They admit that there was not any activity on the account, but it would be up to a supervisor to issue the credit.

The second catch is that they can not get a supervisor to review my account, so now I am stuck between the cust. service rep. and the supervisors.

I will post an update to this however it plays out.
