We purchased a warranty with Woodwind and Brasswind in the amount of $399.00 for my daughter's brand new oboe. Two years later we sent it out for repair through WWBW warranty service program. We sent it out a month ago today and we are being told it will take at least another 2 weeks for it to be returned.

Meanwhile, our daughter has a college acceptance audition in one week. Needless to say, she is panicking as she has no oboe to practice with. We contacted the company's customer service supervisor (Morgan employee ID # 507317) and they refuse to send out a loaner oboe claiming they don't have one to send.

We informed them they will be held liable if our daughter is not accepted into her college music program (in which she has been awarded multiple scholarships contigent upon her musical performance with the school). We were never informed it would take two months to repair. If we had sent it to a repair shop here it would have taken 2 days at a cost of about $50.00.

Do not purchase WWBW's warranty coverage plan, as it is a rip off and you may be left without an instrument for months!
