Global Marketing AKA World Perfume ripoff scam that gets you know where cheated employees and screwed the customers even more Scottsdale Arizona
Global marketing a.k.a World Perfume is the biggest scam I've ever encountered in my entire life. They tell you all these great things but are all lies.
I was looking for a career so called an ad for administrative assistant "will train". Called got the interview than a second interview. Sat through some really long motivating meetings.
Than was sent to the streets to sell perfume out of my car which was not real but they have you tell people it is. Was promised I would be making $200-300 a week during training.
It's a pyramid program and it's all crap. You don't hardly make any money you actually put out more than you make. They also promise after training you will get your own office.
There were 4 people that were there and after they got through training they didn't even have office space for them. As far as I know there still waiting.

The scam is basic but a good one. They post an ad in the newspaper or the internet, now the ad says MANAGEMENT HELP - Sports minded 726-1702 No exp. nec. will train!. When you first call they are quick to set you up for an interview. After losing to good jobs I left them both to go to this company. The promises were all great but it all seemed to good to be true. After a couple of days the class of 40 trainees were down to 4. We continued to sell the perfume on the streets. We found out about the scam from a girl who lived in Colorado she told us that they had scammed her after she had been working there with no pay for 12 weeks. She said they flat out told her that she wasn't getting an office.

Well first of all world perfume is the biggest joke in the world. I was looking to start a good career so saw an ad in the paper for administrative assistant no experience necessary will train. Sounds good right? Well it's not. First interview was just me second interview was a group of like 40 people. You sit through these meetings where they tell you how much money you will be making and once you get your own office you will be bringing in the big bucks yea right. All your doing is soliciting this imitation crap of perfumes in parking lots of gas stations, walmart parking lots, and in some buisnesses. I even went to el paso texas for what they called a road trip and tried to sell perfume in areas i didn't even know. You have to pay for everything gas, food, and lodgeing they tell you they will reimburse you but they don't. O yes and good old Jonny whitworth heard all about him how great he was and blah blah blah . Well Mr Whitworth if you are reading this now my opinion on you is that maybe your making alot of money but your screwing so many people to do it and I hope this horrible scam of a buisness comes to an end and other people read these reports before going to work for world perfume. I guarantee that you will never get anywhere w/ this company no matter how many bottles you sell or how great they say you are or how great you will do when you get your own office. The ones they are saying this to are probably selling the most bottles and are making these @#*&#$@@ a hell of alot of money so of course they are going to say good things to keep you around.
