I applied for a cell phone on-line at gozing.com just to see if we were eligible for the phone. We weren't sure if we wanted the phone or not. I called the people to find out where I could use the phone without being charged long distance or roaming and they couldn't tell me so I refused to except the phone. We received the phone in the mail 3 days later! I took the phone to the post office and sent it back. They called and asked why and I told them I had already talked to someone on the phone and refused the phone but they sent it anyway and I didn't want it. They said o.k. and that they would cancel everything. Two months later I received a bill from worldcom wireless for the monthly service plan,so I called. I was on hold for over 30 minutes and they told me they had no record of the phone being returned so they can't cancel the account. Today I received another bill for 2 months for service so I again called and was put on hold for over 30 minutes again and the woman I talked to said there was nothing they could do because "We don't just give our phones away and if you can't prove you sent it back then theres nothing we can do". I said can't you tell I don't have the phone by the fact that it has never been used. Well she said she would credit the account since the phone was never used but if we don't get gozing to let them know they got the phone back we'll keep being charged for a phone we don't even have. Then at the end of the conversation they have enough gull to ask "is there anything else I can help you with today?". It would help if they would have done something to start with.
