I'm paying for Worldcom Wireless service, but my telephone has had 30 days downtime:

I paid for a cell phone, and when the first phone arrived it would not ring. I called the technician, and A new phone was requested for me. When my new phone arived it had to be activated. I had to wait 72 hours to use it. I had it for a week, and started to receive prank calls on it. I requested a new number.

Worldcom assigned me one, and transferred me to the tech. another time. I waited 72 more hours, and called them again. still no service. The operator told me that my new number could not be activated. She assigned me another new number, and another call to the technician. this continued for several 72 hour periods, and I still have no phone service. I have written email to worldcom three times, and they insist that my phone is in service. I have a voice mail on the line, and it is working, but I can not dial out.

I can not receive incoming calls. I made another call to worldcom, and was assigned a new ESN. for the phone. 72 more hours went by, and I still have no service. I am being as polite as I can with them, but I feel like they are not complying with the agreement they made with me, and I would like to discontinue the service. I feel I have been more than fair. I made timely payments on the account, and don't understand why they would put a paying customer through all of this trouble.
