Worldwide Destination Services, Inc. Company refuses to refund my $400 down payment as promised Tampa, Florida
1st complaint - I visited their place of business on Saturday June 19th, 2010. They were very fast talking, pushy, and didn't want to take NO for an answer so after very high pressure push to get me to sign up I found myself stressed and signed up under duress with the promise I could cancel within 3 business days via register letter. I wrote a check for $400 for down payment on their internal loan to pay for their program. On the very next business day of Monday June 21st I send in a cancellation request. I received a letter from them on June 23 stating that I would be getting a refund after they confirmed that my check cleared. My check cleared on June 22 the same date that there letter was dated. To date I have not received any money and they refuse to talk to me. I feel they have stolen my money.
2nd Complaint - They told me that I was going to get a free cruise but after reading the coupon I quickly found out that the cruise is a scam. You have to pay $199 a person and the only dates available are dates that regularly cost $199 a person via the cruise ship site.
